Terms and Conditions

Format of Sessions

 Coaching sessions via telephone, virtual or in-person is as agreed. Unless otherwise agreed, the Client is responsible for contacting the Coach at the agreed time. The Coach is responsible for ensuring availability for the agreed coaching time.

Length of Each Session

 As agreed between the Coach and the Client. Initial Number of Sessions to be Provided: Four sessions per month for three months minimum. Further coaching will be based upon assessment at the end of the three months.

Per Session Fee

 In accordance with the Coach’s current per session fee, or fee for a program of sessions, or any other such fee as shall be agreed and notified to the Client. The Coach will confirm the fee in writing, via email unless otherwise requested.

Payment Terms

 Payment of fees is expected at the beginning of the month in full unless other arrangements have been agreed upon between the Coach and Client before the start of the sessions. Fees can be paid online by debit or credit card. Receipts of payment will be sent via email unless otherwise requested.

Where payment has not been received in advance of the coaching session the Client is required to connect with the Coach to reschedule the session. NOTE: No session will be honored until payment is received.

ICHP has no refund policy as a way of honoring the Client’s commitment to personal development, informed decision-making, and accountability.

Between Sessions

 The Coach may assign the Client tasks, exercises, or reading assignments to be completed between coaching sessions. There is no obligation on the Client to complete said assignments, however, not doing so may slow or hinder the progress of the Client achieving the desired outcomes and the purpose of the sessions.

Unless otherwise instructed, Clients are expected to submit any assignments/coursework at the latest 24 hours before the coaching session. This will allow the Client and Coach to prepare for the session as well as, meaningful feedback and discussion can take place.

Methods of Contact

 The Client may contact the Coach by phone or email between sessions for clarification regarding anything arising from the coaching session or for administration purposes (i.e. making payment, rescheduling a session).

Additional coaching opportunities are provided via coaching packages. Any additional coaching between sessions that are not included in the Client’s identified package program, may be assessed as an additional charge. The Coach will advise the Client in advance if the contact is likely to incur an additional charge or the nature of the contact becomes a frequent occurrence to warrant such action.

Rescheduling Session

 If the Client needs to reschedule a coaching session, they must provide at least 24 hours of notification of the change. Coaching sessions are not refundable. Unused coaching sessions will be credited to the Client’s account. In exceptional circumstances, there may be times when the Coach may need to reschedule a coaching session. In those instances, the same courtesy of 24 hours will be observed when practical.

When the Client pays for a session or sessions in advance, they must have the coaching session(s) that are required within the agreed amount of time, or the payment for services is forfeited.

Early Termination

 In exceptional circumstances, such as inappropriate behavior by the Client, actual or potential conflict of interest, or other reasons, the Coach can decide to terminate the service to the Client early or refuse or be determined unable to provide further coaching sessions to the Client. The Client, in such circumstances, will be given reasonable notice of termination by the where practical and be refunded any prorated advance payments made for coaching sessions not yet provided.

Confidentiality

 All personal or business information supplied by the Client in coaching sessions or during the intake process, will be treated as confidential, and not be disclosed to a third party without the Client’s prior permission, saved where required by law or where action might be necessary to prevent harm to the Client or someone else.

Responsibilities

 The Coach will seek to enable the Client to improve the Client’s self-worth, life alignment, to achieve the desired outcome(s) as agreed upon between the Coach and Client. Positive results can be achieved where the Client follows a clear plan and remain committed to it. However, the Client has the sole responsibility for making the important decisions in their life professionally and personally. The Coach has no liability for any loss incurred by the Client, whether financial or otherwise, following commencement of coaching sessions, or for any perceived failure by the Client, whether justified or otherwise, to achieve a material improvement in quality of self-worth, life-alignment, or to achieve their desired personal or professional goals.

Variation of Terms and Conditions

 Where an “Initial Number of Sessions” is agreed upon, any changes to these terms and conditions intended to take effect before the conclusion of those “Initial Number of Sessions”, will only have effect if agreed upon by the Coach and the Client, confirmed by the Coach in writing via email. In other cases, the Coach may change any of these terms or conditions including the “Per Session Fee” by giving the Client two (2) weeks’ notice in writing via email of the changes. If following the receipt of such notification of the changes, the Client no longer wishes to proceed with further coaching sessions, the Client may withdraw from service immediately by giving notice in writing via email. The Coach will work with the Client to determine if the Client is entitled to a refund and if so, refund the Client the reasonable allotment of funds. Such notice will be in effect upon receipt by the Coach.

Governing Law

 This and other documents are governed by the law of Illinois whose courts have exclusive jurisdiction to any dispute, disagreement, proceedings, or legal claim of any nature relating to the services provided or the contract.
